Ceramiche Caesar launches the Cross Design Contest 2017, reaffirming its focus on innovation in Product Research and the constant commitment to singling out new emerging architectural trends.

The focus of the company to these issues is demonstrated, since its foundation back in 1988, by productive activity characterized by avant-garde plants entirely dedicated to the production of porcelain stoneware, a material with an extremely high technical performance.

Over the years Ceramiche Caesar has developed a solid relationship with architects and planners, which sees their involvement in the conception phases of collections and the support of the sales network of the company in pinpointing specific solutions for each project.

This mutual fusion has as its nerve centers the two Showrooms, Caesar Urban Lab and Caesar Espace Design, which are located in the heart of London and Paris, European metropolis populated by dynamic and avant-garde communities of designers.

Hence, the first steps in the Cross Design Contest 2017: a project through which architects and designers will be able to reinterpret one of the three trends identified, transforming their choice with their creativity.

Participants will have to give form to a space for the Caesar Gallery in Fiorano Modenese, to be inaugurated in September 2017. The space will need to interpret a loft in a large city, which must have a contemporary and elegant style.

The designer must create a work that best mirrors his own creative idea, but in order to keep aesthetic and stylistic continuity with the rest of the Gallery, it will be important to keep the following brief and guideline in mind: the clients are a “young couple (aged 30/35) who understand design and sought-after furnishing elements”.

The area on which the plan will be developed is that of the plan that will be sent to the participants at the moment of registration, and the only design constraints are the use of porcelain stoneware tiles from the latest Ceramiche Caesar collections for the floor (in its entirety) and for the wall (in its entirety or in part).

The designer will have the textures of all sizes of the collections selected, which range from the 120×240 cm to the large slabs of Project Evolution, at his/her disposal.

Part of the area, as shown on the plan, will include a spiral staircase. For the porcelain stoneware wall tiles of this architectural element the designer may, in line with his/her project, use one or more products from the latest Ceramiche Caesar collections.
